Built in Kampala for the whole country

MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money sell your internet from Kampala to Kabale, around the clock, in shillings. Vouchers cover the cash trade and agents cover the street. One dashboard holds all of it.

How Uganda pays

  • MTN Mobile Money
  • Airtel Money
  • Printed vouchers
  • Agent app
  • Cards

The home market, and the one we answer the phone for fastest

XenFi was built here. Every awkward thing about running a paid hotspot in Uganda, the customer who pays and then calls because nothing happened, the agent whose float never reconciles, the router in a trading centre nobody can reach, is a thing this platform was written to remove, because the people writing it were the people it happened to.

A customer picks a bundle, pays with MTN or Airtel, and their session opens on its own. There is no till message to read, no code to type back, and no evening spent matching a float book against a stack of receipts. The ledger closes itself.

Underneath the hotspot trade sits the rest of an ISP: PPPoE subscribers with speeds, caps and expiry dates, printed voucher batches for the counter, agents selling from their phones with every sale tracked back to them, and router health that tells you a site is down before a customer does.

The parts of the job that should not be a job

Read every mobile money message and type codes back by hand

Payment lands, session opens, nobody touches a phone

Chase an aggregator for API credentials before the first sale

Mobile money is already wired in. Create an account and sell

Reconcile agent float against a paper book every night

Every sale is attributed to the agent who made it, live

Drive to a trading centre to find out why the WiFi is down

The dashboard flags a quiet router before the calls start

From router to first shilling

No integration project, no developer, no waiting on a partnership.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Sign up free and name your network. Nothing to install and no card required to start.

  2. 02

    Point your router at XenFi

MikroTik, UniFi, Omada, Ruijie or anything RADIUS-capable. Paste the settings once and the router talks to the cloud core from then on.

  3. 03

    Price your bundles

Hourly, daily, weekly and monthly plans in shillings, with the speed, data cap and expiry you want on each.

  4. 04

    Sell

Customers pay with MTN or Airtel and come online in seconds. Print vouchers for walk-ins and hand agents the app for the street.

What comes with it

Both wallets, day one

MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money buy the same bundles with the same instant activation. No API keys to apply for.

Hotspot and PPPoE together

Walk-in bundles and monthly home subscribers billed side by side from one dashboard, in one ledger.

Vouchers that print

Generate QR batches for the counter and SMS codes for the field, each one traceable to whoever sold it.

An agent network that adds up

Agents sell from their phones, you watch every sale as it happens, and the float reconciles itself.

Any router brand

MikroTik, UniFi, Omada and Ruijie are first-class, and anything RADIUS-capable joins through the same cloud core.

Router health you can see

A site that stops selling gets flagged, so the first person who knows is you and not your customer.

Who runs on XenFi in Uganda

The same core, priced and shaped differently depending on what you sell.

Trading centre hotspots

One router over a shop, a few hundred customers, and a bundle list that has to be right for the neighbourhood.

  • Hourly and daily bundles priced for walk-in trade
  • Mobile money and printed vouchers side by side
  • Works on the router you already own

Estates, hostels and schools

Monthly subscribers who expect a speed, a cap and an invoice that arrives on its own.

  • PPPoE plans with speeds, caps and expiry
  • Renewals collected without chasing anyone
  • Per-user usage when somebody disputes a bill

Growing ISPs

Several sites, an agent network, and a need to know which of them is actually earning.

  • Every router and every sale in one dashboard
  • Sales broken down by site, agent and plan
  • Staff accounts with the access their job needs

XenFi works anywhere in Uganda with an internet uplink, including Kampala, Wakiso, Mbarara, Gulu, Jinja, Mbale, Arua and Fort Portal.

Questions operators ask

Do I need MTN or Airtel API credentials to start selling?

No. Mobile money collection is already built into XenFi, so there is nothing to apply for and nobody to wait on. You create an account, connect a router, price your bundles and sell.

What does XenFi cost in Uganda?

There is no monthly fee and no setup fee. Mobile money sales are charged at 10%, and printed vouchers and agent app sales are charged at 3%. You pay only on what you actually sell.

Will it work with my MikroTik?

Yes. MikroTik is a first-class router on XenFi, along with UniFi, Omada and Ruijie. Anything RADIUS-capable can join the same cloud core, so you do not need to replace hardware you already own.

Can I bill monthly home clients as well as hotspot customers?

Yes. PPPoE subscriptions with speeds, data caps and expiry dates run beside the hotspot trade on the same dashboard, and both land in the same ledger.

How do my agents sell?

Agents sell from the XenFi agent app on their own phone. Every sale is attributed to the agent who made it and appears in your dashboard as it happens, so the float reconciles itself instead of being counted at night.

What happens if my internet or the router goes down?

Vouchers already issued keep working, and the dashboard flags a router that has stopped selling so you find out before your customers call you.
